نامه‌های منوچهر [متن انتقادی (آوانویسی)، واژه‌نامه، نمایۀ پهلوی] پهلوی- فارسی The Epistles of Manuchihr [Critical Edition (Transcription), Pahlavi Glossary, Pahlavi Index] Yadollah Mansouri, Ph.D & Pouya Sharifani, M.A نامه های منوچهر یک متن پهلوی است که از سده نهم میلادی / سوم هجری برجای مانده است. موضوع کتاب درباره برداشت فقهی از آیینی به نام برشنوم (تطهیر) است که دو روحانی زردشتی که اتفاقا برادر هم هستند هر یک تفسیر خود را دارند و این باعث تنش میان جامعه دینی آن روزگاران شده منوچهر که موبد بزرگ پارس و کرمان است به برادر خود زادسپرم که هیربد سیرجان است نامه نگاری کرده است. این اثر شامل سه نامه است یک نامه به مردم سیرجان و نامه دوم به خود زادسپرم و نامه سوم یک نامه سرگشاده است به همه بهدینان ایران. این متن برپایه متن انتقادی پهلوی دابار دانشمند پارسی تدوین شده بود، نخستین بار آوانگاری شده و همراه با نسخه بدلهای متن و واژه‌نامه بسامدی و کلید واژگان پهلوی منتشر شده است، از این پس ایران شناسان با توجه به آوانگاری متن می‌توانند آن را بخوانند. در این میان نامه سوم این متن به فارسی هم ترجمه شده است. Preface The Epistles of Manuchehr is one the Pahlavi texts written in the ninth century. A few scholars such as E. West, E. B. Dhabhar and M. F. Kanga have studied the text. For the first time E. West translated the text into English, which reflected in The Sacred Books of the East series, published in1882. Dhabhar, in 1912, has provided a critical edition of the Manuscripts in which he took the best use of West’s valuable notes. Based upon Dhabhar’s edition, some articles have been published by Kanga. His articles are very useful and have enlightened a new perspective on the texts, but a few misreading have been noticed in them. Our aim is to present a critical text based on the Dhabhar’s edition. At present, we have created a critical edition of it and hopingly, an appropriate Persian translation would be accessible in the future. Here, the third Epistle has been translated into Persian language. In this volume a transcription with the variants sub-titles, and also a complete glossary and Pahlavi keys are included. Finally, we hope the volume be useful for scholars and researchers.
